Rediscovering Eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours

Where exactly do rainbows end?

I miss...some people who've somewhat disapparated from my life. Best friends. What is that? Do they still exist in this world? After reading, "Where rainbows end" by Cecelia Ahern, it made me think. And i just miss that simple bestfriendship i used to have, with various people along my path of life. Friends u'd want to msg IMMEDIATEDLY to tell them something silly like how the air this morning smells fresher than usual, or how you saw a cute lil' doggie on the way to work.
Friends who'd do the silliest and craziest things with u, which noone else would even contemplate doing. Friends who understand every lil' thing you say even before u say it, who laugh like hyenas at the exact same moment with just a simple glance at each other, even when the people around just give a polite smile. Friends whom make u feel somehow 'not right' when u lose contact for awhile. Friends who you can talk to non-stop, about everything under the sun(and above, too). These friends...are irreplacable to me, in their own unique ways.
But best friends come and go. It's like how people live and die. Part and parcel of life. Amidst life's busyness, many times we lose track of those who slide away, so gradually, from us. But when you take a moment to pause and reflect...well, it's kinda sad.
Rainbows are beautiful to behold, every inch of its multi-coloured substance. When u see a rainbow in the sky, more often that not you'd be struck in awe of its beauty. But like many things in life, its beauty is fleeting. Is it really true that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? I would like to find that 'gold'. But does it exist? Or are chasing rainbows simply a futile pursuit?
Whatever it is, I hope and wish that these friends would not venture too far away.
