I have graduated!! Haha. My heartfelt thanks to my parents and sister! For always being so supportive, even when i get super stressed during crunch time and start screaming at you.
To Seokie and Ash, thank you for all the joy and laughter during the first year of uni, cant believe we were just at O-week and now we've finished Convocation! Mann! Haha remember the stupid CNM project and the 'ghost' that kept deleting our files?! And Seok, working with AWARE, haha. So many memories that i would never forget. Ash! All the crazy Psych modules, and always getting scolded for yakking away in class. Hahaha. Rem you actually contemplated quitting halfway and going to study overseas?! But you made it eventually! Haha good job! The mugging sessions have been worth it, ohh and the satisfaction of throwing our thick thick stacks of notes into the bin after the finals. Rocks.
To Anna and Jiemin, Theng and LiJie, thank you for being my most cherished Social Work buddies. For making me feel like i'm home whenever i see you guys. For being there whenever i need you. For always saving a seat, helping me to buy food, print lecture notes, remind me of deadlines, study together and exchange tips. What would i do without you? Haha.
To Isaac, thank you for being my faithful secretary and information counter. Haha. I think God really sent you to my life to aid me in my weaknesses. Lol. Thank you for the constant reminders, the acts of service-buying food, printing notes, study tips, helping me with my assignments, calling me on exam day to make sure i didn't oversleep, etc. Seriously. Thank you. I think i owe 1/10 of my degree cert to you. Lol kidding. Thanks for making me laugh until my teeth are just short from dropping out, esp in times when i'm close to pullling my hair out. Though sometimes i just feel like rolling my eyes at you. Lol. It's been really fun and crazy doing projects together, catching cockroaches together (LOL!), debating with each other in class, roleplaying with accents and all. Thank God for you!
To Monica, Meizi, Candice, Dexter, it was truly a pleasure to be able to work with you guys over those 10 weeks. 10 weeks of playing silly games and sharing our lives in that office with translucent walls while everyone else rushes around like mad hatters. 10 weeks of walking down that dark alley to our staff canteen, and hovering around the bazaar for food and shopping. 10 weeks of running for the staff bus, forming a tag team so that the one at the back wouldn't miss the bus. 10 weeks of learning from each other, giving each other feedback and support when cases got us burning in righteous anger, or shivering with knocking knees. Those Twanging days would always be etched in my mind. =)
To Kian Kee, thank you for being the most gracious host whenever i step into the Land of Science. Haha thank you for being one of the bestest brothers i've ever had, woah i've known you for what, 9 years? Scary. Lol. Goes beyond words la. Think our friendship didn't begin in NUS and will not end here, either.
To NUS Prayer warriors, continue to fight on!! I believe the ground has already been softened. Continue to claim the promises of the Lord for this land which His favor is upon. I believe many miracles will happen and many lost sheep find their way back through the work you're doing in this place.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
-Galatians 6:9
To all the other friends i've met in NUS over the past three years, it's been a great pleasure crossing paths with you. Maybe one day we will be colleagues! Haha for Amanda, Charmaine and Grace, will see you in one year. For those who are taking honours, or still has more year(s) to go, enjoy your undergraduate years! Join more school activities, pay more attention, make more friends. Don't be like me. Lol. Jiayou. =)
To all my friends, esp those who asked about my convocation...sorry i didn't invite you. It's not that I wouldn't have loved your presence, but really didn't wanna trouble anyone to come all the way down just to take photos, other than my family. One day, we shall all wear our graduation gowns and take photos for fun k? Hahaha. I'd bring my bear. =)
